Collection: Tailsprings

Our round tailsprings are machined out of heat treated 17-4 stainless steel and available in three sizes. They are 24 inches long for more flexibility; the extra length at the fuselage end can be cut to the desired length by the homebuilder. The aluminum attach block on our tailwheel assembly must be bore out to 3/4 inch. These tailsprings are not drilled.

We recommend that you attach them to the fuselage first, then install the tailwheel assembly, assuring the upright of the tailwheel is vertical for optimum ground handling.
